Reading the forest - How has the past shaped today’s landscape?
We are thrilled to offer a new program to help you see the landscape in a different way.
By looking at trees, vegetation and other clues, we will look to see what the present forest can tell us about its past. Through tracks and other sign, we will also be getting an insight on how wildlife uses Gatineau Park’s ecosystems today.
This outing will be led by experienced Friends of Gatineau Park interpreters. The pace will be relaxed with lots of time to make observations, ask questions and enjoy the park environment.
Meeting location: Gatineau Park P-15 parking lot (Cross-Loop Road) - Free parking
Time: Saturday, October 17, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Bilingual activity
Free for children (aged 10-17), with a maximum of two children per adult
Online registration required
