The National Capital Commission (NCC) is Gatineau Park's governing body. Together we share the mission of conservation and education by collaborating on interpretation and research activities, thereby complementing our resources, both human and material.

With the National Capital Commission (NCC) and Gatineau Park, the Friends follow and promote the seven principles of outdoor ethics of Leave no Trace Canada. By following these principles, we contribute to a responsible and durable use of the natural spaces of Gatineau Park.

Mandated by the National Capital Commission (NCC), DEMSIS is currently managing many functions linked to activities in the Park, collaborating to the service delivery of our activities and to our funding drives.

The Nordik Spa-Nature (Chelsea) and the Friends of the Gatineau Park have joined forces to offer interpretative programs in the Park, followed by access to the thermal baths at Nordik Spa-Nature. We share a mutual desire to inform our visitors of the area's beauty as well as of all manner of fun and relaxation to be found there !
