Savoir s’orienter à l’aide d’une carte et d’une boussole est l’une des compétences que tout adepte de plein air devrait maîtriser. Venez parfaire vos connaissances sur la théorie et les techniques associées à cette pratique.
Cet atelier organisé par les Amis du parc de la Gatineau en partenariat avec Sauvetage Bénévole Outaouais – Ottawa Volunteer Search and Rescue (SBO-OVSAR) se décline en deux sessions.
Session 1 (intérieur)
Grâce à des présentations et des exercices, vous aurez la chance d’en apprendre davantage au sujet de :
Cette activité s'adresse aux adultes et aux enfants âgés de 13 ans et plus.
Les boussoles seront fournies, mais vous pouvez apporter la vôtre si vous préférez.
Les participants peuvent s'inscrire à l’une ou aux deux sessions.

Wilderness Skills: Map and Compass Orienteering
Finding your way with a map and compass is an important skill to master for anyone who participates in outdoor recreation activities. Come and learn the theory and practical applications of orienteering with a map and compass.
This workshop is organized by the Friends of Gatineau Park in partnership with Sauvetage Bénévole Outaouais – Ottawa Volunteer Search and Rescue (SBO-OVSAR) and is comprised of two sessions.

- Using coordinates to locate points on a map
